Piano classes are offered for both classical and worship. Eric has been studying, performing and leading worship from the piano for nearly 30 years. He has studied under several professional instructors including Molly Mink and Sophia Zalmonova (Conservatory of Music, Ukraine). Over the years he has been heavily involved in leading worship from piano in a variety of settings. He teaches a well-rounded curriculum of both theory and sight reading as well as chord piano skills and improvisational techniques. Learning to sight read accurately as well as to play spontaneously by ear are both emphasized in classes.

well as Old Timey hymns/Gospel. Lessons are available for both solo mandolin as
well as basic chord accompaniment. Sight reading of both notation and
tablature are taught. For hymns, Eric uses many of his own arrangements that he
has created over the years.

Voice Lessons
Eric has been singing professionaly for 25 years, both live and in the recording studio. He received his classical vocal training under Mark Greenawalt (Thomas Blaylock method) and has sung in multiple choral ensembles as well as a soloist, primarily in worship. He teaches both classical and contemporary styles, focusing on vocals in the context of worship settings. In addition to learning solid vocal technique, all Prestantia voice students learn to sight sing, ear sing and to sing harmony as well as free-style and improvisational vocal skills. His unique approach to helping each individual develop their God-given voice, along with proven conventional techniques, provides an encouraging and inspiring curriculum for all students of any age or skill level.
Songwriting
Eric has much experience as a songwriter/composer, primarily within the church and
has written many songs that have been used in corporate worship settings all across
the region. He teaches weekly classes in the skill of crafting original lyrics and music.
These classes are geared towards those with an interest in worship music. He believes
in creating songs that present theological soundness in their lyrics as well as
creative excellence in their music.
